Welcome to the official website of the West Kentucky Academic Association, the premier league for academic competition in westernmost Kentucky!

Are you looking for an academic league that values excellence, with opportunities for tournaments, weekly matches, and content assessment experience? Then we encourage you to join our league! WKAA teams that compete weekly are well-prepared for Governor’s Cup competitions, and high school seniors are able to receive a share of over $10,000 that our league awards each year. The 2025-2026 Academic Team season will be getting under way in mid-October. We’re looking forward to another exciting season of academic competition! Coaches will log in to the secure portal of this site to download competition questions for the year, along with other pertinent information.

REMINDERS:

Academic team coaches will log in to wkaa.org with a coach password to download questions for their competitions for the year.

Do NOT practice with our competition questions before match time! This is considered CHEATING, and teams will be sanctioned for this.
